John Townsend
My young daughter was bitten by a dog that belonged to a neighbor when she was playing at their house. I never pursued it, other than to let the neighbor know how she was doing (she needed forty stitches to piece her ear back together). I assumed that the neighbor was concerned. This woman apparently got some legal advice and cut off all contact with us the day after it happened. I've never sued anyone, or even threatened to. I'm just shocked by her lack of common compassion or courtesy. Should I let her know I wasn't angry about the dog bite but think her behavior afterward is disgusting or should I just ignore her now that I see what kind of person she is?
